Clear Mind Press is an independent Australian book publisher founded in 2022 by Suzanne H Visser. It publishes memoir, fiction, poetry, children's books and non-fiction in paperback, hardcover and ebook, under the tagline 'fiercely independent publishing'. Its mission is to publish relevant, fiercely independent work, neither asleep nor woke. Books are printed on demand, and bookshops and libraries can order titles through IngramSpark.
Who founded Clear Mind Press?
Suzanne H Visser founded Clear Mind Press in 2022 and is its CEO and managing director. She is a writer, painter and photographer, and a legal scholar in Sustainable Justice. She set up the press to publish The Elephant's Tooth, her book on crime in Alice Springs based on research by Sustainable Justice Australia, and soon began publishing other authors as well.
