Iryna Elkins writes stories inspired by the knowledge she wishes to pass on to the next generation — a generation that will live on and care for our planet. She is deeply motivated by her husband and her grandchildren, who eagerly listened to her first stories and encouraged her to keep writing. The characters in her books are inspired by real life: two beloved whippets she once had and a friend’s Labrador, whose friendship reflected loyalty, courage, and the spirit of “one for all and all for one.”

Her husband’s love for Labradors and their shared family stories became the heart of the world she creates in her books.
